Family Reunion Letter
The Cincinnati Chapter is diligently making plans to host the Moore-Washington Family
Reunion on Thursday, July 17 through Sunday, July 20, 2025.
We have booked the beautiful Courtyard by Marriott Cincinnati Midtown for this gala
affair. The rates are $179 plus tax per night for a King or 2 Queen Guest Rooms.
Your reservation at Courtyard includes free Wifi, indoor pool, and fitness center.
Onsite Self Parking is $10.00 daily and $14.00 Valet parking with in and out
privileges. We encourage you to book your hotel reservations now using the link

For our reunion, we will offer 4 shirt colors. The various colors highlight our diverse
family but also unites us through one message, Embracing Our Roots & Keeping Our
Legacy Alive. Each color symbolizes a different meaning. The colors are as follows:
1) Teal - Culture
2) Gold- Unity
3) Purple - Royalty
4) Orange - Confidence

each member select a color for their t-shirt on the form as well.
All fees must be paid no later than June 10, 2025.
Weekend events will begin Friday morning with a tour of the beautiful and historic
National Underground Railroad, Freedom Center Museum, located at 50 E.
Freedom Way, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202. We will return to the Freedom Center ballroom
to celebrate as a family at our reunion banquet Friday evening from 7-11pm. Our Attire
will be Black Semi-Formal.
Our family picnic will be held at the beautiful, air conditioned Maple Ridge Lodge,
located at Mt. Airy Park, 3040 Westwood Northern Blvd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
We are also planning festivities that include a night out at The Hard Rock Casino and a
party bus for those who want to enjoy the Cincinnati nightlife. More details will be shared
once finalized.
